1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract 2 cups cake flour 2 teaspoons baking powder ½ teaspoon salt ¾ cup milk
Directions Compile every component. Turn the oven on to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Grease and dust two 8-inch circular baking pans.
One by one, beat in the egg yolks, and then mix in the vanilla. In a another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Beat in flour mixture and milk mixture in turns, beating just until combined.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the cake tops bounce back when lightly touched, in a preheated oven. Before transferring to cooling racks, let cool for fifteen minutes.
